  6. True about the widescreen bit

    You can see where The Joshua Tree was coming from even though musically with TJT they took a back step from the overly poppy sound of the 80s synths and withdrew into Americana nostalgia for its own 'widescreen' sound

    Funnily enough, that same 'Americana nostalgia' nearly got them lynched when RAH came out

    Sonically we've since had moments of 'widescreen' with Zooropa and NLOH

    AB (although maybe LIB could be a contender) and POP (possibly Gone too) don't really have any widescreen moments as such
