  1. What do you think are some really great versions of some of U2's Best songs.

    I'd say One from Vertigo Tour that was in Boston Dec 4th 05 since it was extended with an Edge jam solo which I thought was very awesome.

    Please up any versions of songs you think we should all hear in mp3 format please. Enjoy this new thread!

  3. any version of 'trying to throw your arms around the world' is awsome,

    i gots to check out that version of 'one' mentioned earlier.

    if you want the best versions of songs look into the irving plaza, new york show. i dunno the date of the show but it contains my favorite version of 'elevation' and 'one', plus excellent versions of 'all i want is you' and 'mysterious ways'(two songs that i will never be able to decide which version is my favorite version) and one more cover of 'we wont get fooled again'.

    'where the streets have no name', i love the december 26th 1989 show in dublin in which the band has a power that lacks words to describe(that show also has an excellent version of 'all i want is you/sexual healing', and 'one tree hill', the solo at the end is rly something else).

    'with or without you', look into the stockholme show on the zootv tour 1992-06-11(an underrated zootv bootleg), it has a solo at the end that is so incredible and the guitar parts can be heard clearly that you cant help but love it.

    as far as 'bad' goes i guess im going to have to say the live aid version is the best, but there are tons of other great versions to be heard.
