How different is working with Bruce IEMs as opposed to U2 IEMs? Harder, for sure. Ignoring the fact all these feeds were recorded onto DAT, so lots more time alignment to be done. But there are more players on-stage for Springsteen, and not everybody uses IEMs. So you have to get creative with extractions, balancing for solos, etc.
Edge is basically the conductor of the U2 show, and his feed reflects it. It has pretty much everything in the mix, just needs a boost on the other guys in the band to fill it out. But I rarely focus on "need to boost XYZ for the solo" like I have to do with Springsteen.
