just wait until someone uses one of your songs to sell haemorrhoid cream and you may understand
  2. Surprised he sold out to the big corporate monsters I thought he was a man of the people ,I wouldn't be surprised to see U2 doing something similar they had no problem taking 100 million dollars from Apple for SOI knowing they wouldn't make half that had they released it the conventional way.
  3. No, I don't think I would. The only reason to be annoyed would be if the song was used by a politician or party I despise, but that's happened to Bruce in the past anyway
  4. ...and let's not forget that u2 themselves wrote EBTTRT and based a LOT of the concept of ZOO TV on the commercialism and consumerism (later explored more through Popmart) that people seemingly place as values higher within their lifestyles than faith or religion (both important to the band) and relationships

you can't berate the 'devil' of corporate consumerism that would sell tobacco to children if it could and then lay side by side with that said devil clutching tightly onto your pieces of silver

    no no no sir
  5. Hope he makes it back to Australia for some shows.
  6. Has anyone find any ticket prices?
  7. He's not coming to Madrid so I might do Rome this time, if tickets aren't too expensive of course - which I doubt.

  8. It's in dutch, but golden circle and Rang 1 are standing tickets, rest is seated. Rolstoel means disabled. Fees are included in these prices

  9. Prices for Landgraaf, Holland
