1. I know absolutely nothing about U2’s plans and I understand that the US was spoiled with the 40 date Sphere residency in Las Vegas, but I hope it won’t be 2028 when they play in the United States again.

  2. That's not the case. Sometimes they go quiet before a release, other times they post right up until something comes out / is announced.

Easter Lily was released 4/3. They posted to their social media the same week (3-28) plugging the Propaganda issue and (3-26) featuring Adam's picks for music. Two posts the same week the EP came out. Hardly "going silent"

Little more time before Days of Ash, which came out February 18. The last post had been Super Bowl related on February 3. So about two weeks.

Usually when their social media goes quiet it means there's little to post, or the person who runs it for them is taking a little bit of time off.

I would bet on some US shows in the fall of 27.

And then they post something after this lol
  5. I wonder would they go down that road again? Obviously it's something they know would work and technology has moved on a lot since 2009 so they could have a much more high tech production.
  6. nevermind I take it back they just posted

    1 - Southamerica + Mexico - Feb/March
    (if they go south)
    2 - Oceania/Asia - April/May
    3 - Europe - June/July/August
(if they don't start going south)
    4 - Oceania/Asia - October/November
5 - Northamerica - first semester 2028, arena tour, tour should be over before the Olympics
    6 - maybe Europe again?

In any case the US is going dead last this time, but right on time for the presidential year

April/May is very unlikely for Australia as the major stadiums are secured for the different football codes, making it a logistical nightmare for loading in and out. October/November is more realistic.
  8. I think it’s more likely there’s 2 legs in North America and 2 in Europe, spread out over 2027 and 2028. I think a lot of you people underestimate how profitable touring in North America is for U2, and how much demand there still is for them here.
