  4. As a live band they had got to a peak at this point, overall better musicians through lots of touring and passion in the performance. The crowds they played to on this short tour were also some of the loudest.

    Some of that rawness from Lovetown transferred into the early Zoo shows too in my opinion.

    Filmed one afternoon down in U2's recording studios on Hanover Quay in Dublin. It was premiered at a gala dinner at what I believe was the inaugural Tribeca Film Festival. The song itself was written for Scorsese's film 'Gangs of New York'. This is the second U2 video I directed for a song from a soundtrack, Hold Me, Thrill me, Kiss Me, Kill Me' being the other. Actually the third if you count 'Miss Sarajevo', though that was actually written as part of a soundtrack for a non-existant film. Or something like that...
