    The ending of the main set is meant to be the sort of “ascension of the Shadow Man” since I remember back in 2017 a few folks remarked that he was like a dark version of the Mirrorball Man. So, after Numb, you get Bono with the Mirrorball persona from Vertigo through Desire, Love and Peace with its preachery lyrics is a transition, and for the last two you have the full-blown Shadow Man persona.

    Encore is kinda long but what’re you gonna do?

    Thanks! I was obsessed with Stop Making Sense for a long time and felt like giving it a U2 spin. Next step is to learn audio mixing and make a playlist of this from live shows!
  3. I was having a think about perfect setlist’s for each tour. Using only songs that the band did actually perform on these specific tours to make it somewhat realistic and keeping the Setlist no longer than the longest set of the tour. So here’s what I came up with for the vertigo tour. For me the band were really on to something with playing the early songs and should have included even more per show imo as my picks reflect. I also generally like to hear as many songs from the new album as possible to keep the set interesting and different from previous tours, i would only omit songs I regard as poor from the new album, Fast Cars being the only one in this case with the other 2 omitted not having been performed on the tour.

    I totally understand why you omitted it but do you feel a bit guilty for not including Boots?

  10. this would be my perfect I+E Tour setlist which basically is the 13/09/2015 setlist with some changes. I think they could have played Love Is Blindness in 2015 as the last song on the I+E Tour, sadly the last time they played it publicly was in 2006.
