  1. On my ipod, I place every live u2 show under its own GENRE, titled "U2 LIVE".

    This allows me to organize dates and tours a lot better.

    For SOME reason....some shows from u2start, when I change it to my "U2 LIVE" genre",,,it won't let me, and instead, always defaults back to "COUNTRY".

    No matter what I do, I've tried everything.....even if I change the genre name to LIVE U2...or add astriks such as *U2 LIVE*....it STILL does it. It's like the mp3s are encoded in someway not to let the words "u2 live" be in the genre.

    has anybody ever had any kind of "similar" problems when trying to organize material in itunes from u2start?

  2. We dont do any funny things with our MP3s. Think iTunes is a bit buggy with ID3v2 tags? Anyway, try MP3Tag, foobar2000, winamp to tag your files.
  3. You can highlight all the songs you want to change and click 'Get Info' then change the Genre of multiple songs that way
