  2. AM was my first arctic monkeys album. Tranquility base hotel my second. I realy dig that stuff. The older arctic monkeys is just one of many british guitar bands, not that special.

  7. I like Tranquility Base because it’s very, very different from the rest of their stuff. It’s got this weird outer spacey sound and a clever overarching theme. Sonically and thematically, it’s a really strong album, I think. I can listen it to it over and over and not tire of it; it was definitely THE new album of 2018 for me.

    Sure it’s weird, but it’s a kind of weird I can get behind.

  11. Give me six of those! TLSP is the best thing that's come out of England since fish&chips and Muse's Absolution.
