1. I must have missed something but I wonder why they played so rarely WMA (Love the drumming)
  2. The drummer that played on that take left the band over 30 years ago.
  3. It's a shame The Whale Song live doesn't feature the prominent bass track on the studio recording.
  4. I know that Dave is no longer behind the kit but that doesnt prevent them from playing it.
Maybe link to the subject of the song?
(There has been changes from the original WMA sheet sleeve to the one on the 20th anniversary one)
  5. So, i thought Dark Matter would be album of the year. But they've been beaten big time by The Cure's Songs of a Lost World
  6. Mike McCready said that some of Dark Matter, especially Won't Tell, was inspired and influenced by U2 and The Cure. Both are bands that Pearl Jam admires and respects in present day. There are Easter eggs throughout Dark Matter. The end of Wreckage sounds like Tom Petty's Learning to FLY. Eddie Vedder was and still is a huge Tom Petty fan.
