  4. 50 years ago today the Beatles recorded Please Please Me in 12 hours at Abbey Road studios.Today, various artists in BBC Radio 2, are re-recording the album,in the same order and timeframe at Abbey Road......pretty cool idea....
  5. Just to clarify, the magical session that captured the essence of Please Please Me were 10 of the 14 songs that appeared on the record. Four of the songs had already been recorded and used as singles and B-sides: Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You and Please Please Me/Ask Me Why respectably. Though that doesn't change how amazing that session actually was.
