1. Wow, powerful line-up too! I had great expectations seeing Rag'n'Bone Man last year but he disappointed me a bit, he had caught a summer flu and he didn't quite deliver - I hope he's better this time. YOU HAVE TO SEE MOGWAI, it's an order!

I plan to see Mogwai so okay... think I'll skip Ragman, he has beautiful voice, but is very repetitive... And definitely skipping Years and Years - found them pretty annoying (bu it's just my taste). Definitely going for Shaka Ponk. But of course The Cure and Florence are my top picks

Nice Are you going to camp out? Ostrava is a long way from home!
  4. No... too old for camping lol
Hotels and Air BNBs in Ostrava are overpriced during the festiva, so we will sleep in some pension/hotel cca 20 mins by car from Ostrava which is okay...
Btw. in July/August we are in Austrian Alps and we found hotel for 6 nights cheaper than 4 nights in anywhere Ostrava during festival.... Crazy!

Wow, that's bad (although not surprising). Everything gets more expensive when big events come around businesses' area. I've seen restaurants raising their menu prices from 9€ to 15€ during match/concert days around the Madrid arena which U2 played last September. Sickening.

Bars jacking up the price of beer too. But I guess that’s how it is.
  7. So wrong at so many levels. Where's Stalin-like fixed prices when we need them

    Bitches!
  9. I think it was like 10 euros for Heineken in Paris next to the Bercy Arena in 2018.
  10. On my way back on BA from the Warped 25th anniversary fest on the beach in Atlantic City. All festivals should be on a beach. Preferably next to casinos: they had to evacuate the site because of lightening for a few hours, we had to rough it in Bally’s. Best fest I’ve ever attended, albeit because this type of music is my first love. Blink, Offspring, ADTR, Good Charlotte, 311, Bad Religion, Bowling for Soup, Neck Deep from the U.K...and about 50 other bands. Swimming allowed, temps hit high 30’s and, well, Warped just has a super cool vibe. Was supposed to see the Stones yesterday but sold our tickets. After Warped seeing the...just didn’t feel right. Not sure there is much cross over here but early U2 would fit in well at Warped. They were once a great punkish band. Still dream of a night of no video board and just songs like Electric Co, Out of Control, I Will Follow etc.
