1. The same rules are not applied in all countries. In France for instance the vinyl was sold online by FNAC (chain store) in advance. They started shipping around November 20 to customers. Some countries don't limit taking advance holds at record shops, others don't limit you to one copy. The US and Canada tend to have the strictest rules from what I've seen over the years, with UK following not far behind...

    In Holland it varies from store to store how many copies you can buy and whether you can reserve in advance. Online sales are subject to strict rules. That is only allowed the next day.
