1. And it’s been called off…

That's 2 (Stones and U2) tours that were supposed to be this year called off/plans changed before any announcement...

  2. Illness?
  3. I don't think illness has anything to do with it this time, but you never know. They're pretty quiet about their health problems. Personally I believe it's logistics or even money in this case. Also, consider the big tournament in Barcelona planned for the same day as The Stones opening night. Also, the rumored schedule had a different pattern. Someone rightfully pointed out 3 concerts in Spain and 2 in Germany, also just 1 concert in France. Not likely. Oh well. Maybe next year.
  4. Barcelona show was more a problem for FC Barcelona than the band. One show in France? 2022 was only supposed to be one show in France then they changed it due to the war in Ukraine. Paris replaced a Warsaw/Helsinki date.

They must have pulled the plug close to the announcement as this was the biggest gap between a tour page on IORR and anything official.

They are ancient so if there's no tour this year I can't see them being on tour again. Mick has slowed down a lot. I've made my peace with it, whatever happens I'm glad I saw them when I could with Charlie.
  5. There's definitely the possibility of no tours in Europe or anywhere for that matter. But I don't think they're all together finished. Although I love Charlie I feel compelled to say with Steve Jordan on board teamed with Darryl Jones it's a damn good concert. Saw them 6 times in 2022 and I'm amazed how much I enjoyed it. First time in many years I was hoping they would play Miss You because of this new dynamic. Midnight Rambler was sublime. Out Of Time also a major highlight. I think a tour this year would have went over well.
  6. They can push it to autumn time in Europe, there are quite a few stadiums with a retractable roof in Cardiff, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Gelsenkirchen, Paris. Like they did in 2017 because of Ronnie's lung cancer.
  7. Yes, it's certainly possible for something. Who knows, maybe they just wanted to get us hyped up.
  8. "Following 5-6 weeks of studio works at London’s Metropolis Studios during late April, all of May, and into June, they have laid down 13 songs, and are in discussions over a release date for their new studio album."

    JUNE 11, 2025 UPDATE

  9. Just relistened to SF with this "new" tracklist order that I made. I thought that Sway would be a killer intro with Brown Sugar as one of those amazing energic songs that are in the last songs of an album
