1. They've announced the 4 highly anticipated shows that were bound to happen:

    November 25 & 29 - O2 Arena, London
    December 13 & 15 - Prudential Center, Newark, NJ
  2. Getting tickets for these shows is going to be a real nightmare.
  3. I suppose seeing them once in one's lifetime would be a real treat (kind of like what I'm doing with The Smashing Pumpkins next week - not that I should compare the two bands) but there's something about seeing a bunch of 70-year olds playing rock and roll that's kind of a turn off for me. I know, I'm being an ageist. Furthermore, the younger people who want to see them for the first time will, in most cases, not have the cash to afford these tickets. Instead, the shows will be filled with boomers who are seeing them for the 50th time!

    Sour grapes, maybe.
  4. Holy fuck, that's otrageous
  5. the audience will rattle its jewels .. John Lennon is saying from up above hehe
  6. been to two concerts Voodoo lounge and bridges to babylon tour ...
that was real enough ...Love them ...but for so much money Never !!!
  7. The problem with concerts like these is that those scalpers will buy several tickets to make a definite profit. I can't wait to see some of these tickets on eBay going for £500 or even over a grand.
  8. £400 a ticket is not acceptable, i don't care what band it is. it's not like they're in need of cash! fuck that.

i'm fine with holding out for a glastonbury slot.
  9. but that prize includes

  10. Amen. I still have trouble believe those figures are real ticket prices...
