  1. Hi everybody, this is Gio from Milano. It's great to be part of such a fantastic community! I know you will 'kill me' saying that I had a great collection of U2 bootlegs (on vynil) back in the Eighties and that I sold it by the end of that decade, but there were several reasons for such a 'dramatic' act! I kept something anyway...ehehe; I kept the books and some 12inches I bought at the time.
    I saw U2 in Milano in 1985 (amazing night) and met them in Dublin at Windmill Lane on August 8th 1986 (they were recording 'Where the streets have no name')...such an incredible day! I saw them live on every tour.
    Anyway, it's great to be here and I'm sure I will have a great chance to meet some new friends.
    If you are also Police fans...I work with Stewart Copeland.

  3. Ciao Sergio! Thanks for your prompt feedback! Too bad I didn't have a camera with me, but it was an unexpected meeting...but I had a book with me, signed by the four of them. A day I will never forget. I listened to the making of Where The Streets for five hours, and it was The Edge's Birthday.
    Thanks again; I'm still a great fan at heart, and that's why I decided to jump in here...thanks to a friend of mine who showed me this place.
