1. Thanks discohype

  2. If I recall, they actually did perform it live, as in they streamed the performance from their New York studio.
  3. Thanks discohype for the download
  4. you're welcome
  5. A lot of Aslan fans are bitter that they never broke out of Ireland like U2 did that's always been a bone of contention with a lot of their hardcore fanbase and some of them despise U2 because of that.Christy Dignam used to be quite spiteful and negative towards U2 it took him decades to forgive Bono for basically dishing their song "This is " back in the 80s as he told him it wasn't good enough or similar sort of sentiments ,the problem was that Aslan believed in their own hype back in Ireland and expected doors to open elsewhere without having to do the donkey work .
  6. Begrudging.

  8. Such a massive loss to the Irish music scene Aslan were the people's band they used to play Clubs and Pubs around the country all year round and Christy was such a great front man with a soulful voice ,they never made it big internationally due to his addiction issues that forced him out of the band early on just as they were about to break out of Ireland, subsequently he reunited with them a few years later but the opportunity had passed however they went on to make some great albums and play some memorable live gigs that made them one of Ireland's greatest bands .RIP.
  9. Had the great privilage of seeing Aslan a couple of times including a memorable acoustic show in Mike the Pies Listowel.

We have lost a national treasure in Christy Dignam. RIP.
  10. Never got to listen to them besides This Is (and only due to U2's cover a few years ago) but everyone speaks fondly of Christy so I feel your pain. Rest in peace.
