some of you may have noticed that rapidshare has changed not only it's design but also it's speed which appears to have reduced to snails pace. However there is a way around this:
1. use google chrome - i'm not sure if this is essential as i haven't tried since without it
2. this is essential. click any rapidshare link you like and when it comes up look for the word 'register' and click on it, you will then get alll the usual expected email username spaces to be completed (i created a gmail account in a tv characters name for no other reason than to do this), above this are - if i remember right now three selections on storage size - the first box is 10gb and is coloured green this is totally free and this is what you are signing up for whether you choose to use it or not), click on the green box, fill in some details and off you go - no email to respond to - theres a box saying something like sign up to newsletter i left that ticked - let them think you give a shit at least.
download a rapidshare file now you are 'logged in' and the difference is dramatic.
