1. Can anybody recommend a good version of bullet the blue sky
  2. any Popmart
  3. Elevation and Vertigo tours are the best, imo. Elevation (Boston) features Bono performing a long spoken word segment about gun violence in America and Vertigo (Chicago) features snippets of The Hands That Built America and Please. Both of these specific versions can be found at very high sound quality as they were released on concert DVDs.
  4. My fav versions are Slane Castle 2001 and this

Although versions from ZooTV (especially from London 93 and Sweden 92 and DVD's version too), POPmart and Vertigo Tour are cool too. Do they bring back it on new tour? I want it.
  5. After a full tour off I think the song is worthy of a return.

And yes, the ZooTV performances (as well as Slane 2001) are indeed the greatest performance of this song. Way better than the studio version, imho.
  6. Definitely Zoo TV. Dublin or Sydney would be great quality.
  7. Yes please
  8. Regarding the OP, check out the Wembley 1993-08-12 version. In the middle of the Balcans war, and NATO not doing anything, Bono was really angry and yells "Fuck you America, Fuck you UK" in the middle of BTBS. A great performance of that song.
  9. Check this one: 1987-11-24 - Fort Worth, Texas - Tarrant County Convention Center
  10. I see Bullet and This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now as a nice pairing both musically and thematically.

Pfff.... Starting a show with Bullet The Blue Sky > Desire > All Along The Watchtower, 13 minutes of non-stop (literally) rock and roll... Those were quite probably their most energetic concert starts ever. God, watching this has reminded me how I wish a full Lovetown show was released in video
