1. Added my review.
  2. added mine

  3. I added my review and have to agree with the "hilights" that "germcevoy" mentioned.

What a fantastic show! It'd have been great to have been at that show!

Just listen to Bono at about 3:30 into "Gone"... I got chills!
  4. Few of my friends were on that show...they were still kids back then...even younger than I'm now. That show, as they tell me, changed their lives.

Sarajevo is my favorite bootleg and if I had only one chance to get back in time, I would go back to 1997, to Sarajevo show.

And as Croat I'm very proud that on the PopMart Mexico DVD, under "Extras" (Sarajevo documentary) in shots of crowd you can see sign that says "Croatia loves U2".

  5. Am I the only one that thought that "Miss Sarajevo" on this boot wasn't that bad, considering it was the first time playing it? Brian Eno's voice (assuming that was him with the "Is there a time....") kind of ruins it for me, but it surely didn't warrant the "I hope you like it, because we can't fucking play it" comment by Bono....Besides, when did Bono become such a perfectionist?

I thought it was OK, nothing more than that. I think it's a bit hard to judge, cause Bono's voice was simply terrible...
But it was definitely a highlight! The cowd was out of control there!
And who was doing the Italian part? Was that Eno or Pavarotti on screen?

Pavarotti like the Pavarotti in the original song. They kinda streamed it in, I think.

  8. Okay, thans Casper!
Already thought so, but you never know!
  9. my copy of the show has the "fuck the past" speech edited, he only says "kiss the future" on mine. i guess my question is does it have the whole speech, if it can be called that, if so i will definitely download it. Also, I got it probably 5 or 6 years ago in the mail, is this version of better quality?

The version we have on the bootleg page is a newly remastered version and really is worth the download.
