  5. Omfg I showed my brother the song and he said the same thing. This is deffinatly a song I'll be listening to long after it comes out.
  6. Great song! I love the way he sings/talks/shouts the verses! coulda done without the piano, give it a more raw sound but overall great track! 8.5/10

  7. It's cut short yes - not very nice; otherwise, great song!
  8. I'm just glad it is not a Faith Hill cover.
  9. This is one that had to grow, but it did, great song, great guitar parts. Loving it!
  10. loving this one....... and 16th June is my birthday
  11. Wow, this is the best song on the album, now doubt about it after a couple of listens.
Eno wasn't lying when he said it was the best song he ever recorded with them (well he wasn't lying that much).

It's like an HTDAAB/ATYCLB pop rock mash up, but the addition of the piano and arabic cello makes it much more interesting than that.

And the rapid fire verses are excellent, different, fresh lyrics. I wish more songs on the album would have these kind of effortless lyrics, that do not feel contrived in the slightest.

You can just imagine the singer opening the door, finding a salesman trying to sell him something that will make 'stay alive a bit longer', but having led a life lived to the fullest he walks into the street, arms stretched out and sings to the salesman "There’s nothing you have that I need' and he implores the salesman with all his commercialness to 'Breathe now'. Breath all this life in. Absolutely fantastic.

it's like a rock musical playing out in your head.

It reminds me of Beautiful Day in its unabashed optimism and the ' don't need it now' reference, very uplifting. It also has the 'songs are in our eyes' line from Miracle Drug, which is cool to see.

And the chorus is fantastic, I simply love the way the Edge and Bono sing "Breathe"

Truly this song is the highpoint of the album, much more touching than the contrived melodrama that is Moment of Surrender.
