Is there a direct link to just the UV lossless performance anywhere?
I have a really crappy bandwidth cap, so I don't really want to download half a gig.
Well, you need the 9 parts in order to have the full concert, but if you only want one song, I'd recommend you to download the exact part where you think it is. Taking it's song number 19 out of 22, and there are 9 rar parts, I think Ultraviolet might be around part 8 or 9. Download them both (8 and 9 )and you'll have it for sure
  2. During the live performances of the song, when Edge sings the backup vocals, which are absolutely amazing. Does anyone know for sure what he is actually singing. I got into a youtube video debate about this

    Is this a serious question?

In the choruses he's singing "Ultraviolet love" over Bono's vocalisations. That's fairly obvious and I don't remember there being any other Edge-only backing vocals in the song.

The "ultraviolet" is not completely clear (some time ago I used to do choruses while my mother sang the main part, and I sung "Don't you worry 'bout" hahahaa... It's real )... But indeed, it's the "official" lyric for it, and it's what can be heard most of the times (in Achtung Baby also).

its far from obvious. Hard to choose between 'ultraviolllllet' and 'ultraviolet light'

yeah, I always heard it as "ultraviolet love" too.

  7. I used to think it was almost that same line as well! I heard "Don't you worry, love." It really isn't that clear to hear, and I had to look at the lyrics for it.
  8. Always heard "ultravioleeeet".
  9. I always thought it was "ultraviolet light" until you guys came along and burst my bubble , cheers for that

  10. well when the song is called Ultraviolet, it should be obvious that he is singing 'ultraviolet' or a similar phrase. I admit that it is hard to distinguish between 'ultraviolet love' and 'ultraviolet light' though.

Excuse us for having a much lower intellect than you. Cheeky bastard.

  12. Hey, I didn't say that.

To me, using a song title within a song itself, seems pretty logical. But maybe i'm wrong?
