That remix of PopMuzik is really only listenable for me with the crowd in the background. It's literally a *perfect* show opener for them/that tour, but I can't listen to PopMuzik without the crowd in the background. The regular buy-able versions on iTunes don't do it justice; the energy of the bootlegged intros is where its at.

Probably lol, I was only watching it on Youtube from Mexico City when the band walking onstage with their ridiculous costumes. Gotta love Popmart

  3. The first 1:20 of that remix was pure bliss, it would have gone over just as well as the original if placed on HTDAAB that way, as long as the rest of the song was crafted the proper way after it. Don't care much for the "hoppin' beat" of the rest of it, though.

Makes me wish I had a boxing robe and a muscle shirt so I could jump up and down and punch the air in front of the TV with Bono. So much energy.

Can you buy it on iTunes? I did not notice?

I actually quite like the 80's style remixes:

    Desire [Hollywood]
Two Hearts Beat As One & Wire [Kevorkian Mixes]
Lady With The Spinning Head - [whilst being 90's, very much in that 80's Extended mode]

As for Dance remixes, my faves would be:

    Salome [Zooromancer]
Beautiful Day / Even Better Than / Lemon [Perfecto]
    Staring At The Sun [BIR]
    New Years Day [Ferry Corsten]
    Magnificent [Adam K]
    Night & Day [Steel String]
    Vertigo [Rendanka]

I don't mind the Perfecto mix of Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car, i remember hearng it played on Triple J years ago, and the version on the fruitleg is very poor quality, i just wonder if there is a decent version going around?

  7. Ok, I really like the Pop Muzik remix, especially this version I found on Youtube, even without the crowd noise and concert atmosphere its great.

I love Bono's vocal overdub, as always he sings brilliantly

Is there a shorter version of this mix? without all the live concert fade in that makes up the latter half of the song?

I don't have a shorter version but I can rip the audio and edit it for you. Place your word if you want it and I will do it

Thanks, but don't worry, I can just skip the latter part of the song.

Could you PM this to me? In audio form, I mean? I don't have this, and seeing as how it's one of the most fitting show lead-ins ever used, I think it deserved to be in my collection.

Thanks so much, if you can!
