and Sergio, I love you, too

    Really deserved FOTM, congrats
  2. Wow, a great read once again.

Now here's a question: Which of these do you love more, Kirsten? Horses or U2?

  3. nice interview, good read
  4. Great interview Kirsten Thanks for the read

I really like your talk on Africa and your insight since you lived there. Great stuff.

glad I could help if you have any questions for your next trip, ask right away

and as for Africa.... my mom and I were just randomly looking through our photo albums from that time, and here's a pic of me LOL at the innocent age of 5 years, amidst my school mates in Burkina Faso, Africa

(taken in 1982, omg a lifetime ago... (and I'm the one on the right, mind you )
  6. Cool picture.

With you it really was a matter of time before you were elected as u2starts member of the month Thanks for the interview. Was a nice read

  7. hahaha LOL you're awesome, my friend how could my heart not beat for you you do know we'll have to share a pint or two when we meet for the 2010 show in Dublin, right? Right. Because we both know it will happen. Croke 2010

tough question, that one but honestly, if ever I had to chose (and I hope I'll never have to), I'd go for the horses, no doubt. I work with living beings and they are no stuff you put aside or leave behind just like that. Caring for them daily, over many years (as horses become 25 years and older), creates a bond. And I make my living with them, after all. U2 won't pay my bills, unfortunately I'd have to stick with real life then and go for the horses even though the love for both can't be compared really. Both make me "walk on", in their own unique ways. Tough one, really

    A wise choice I'd say.
  9. Congrats, macstripey and a great interview it is!!
  10. Nice read Kirsten, was good to meet you in Berlin
  11. Nice one Stripey. Can really relate to your feeling about Ireland, but ok, I lived for 5 years in Dublin , it's indeed a special city. Was also in Berlin a month back (time flies), was a very magic moment. In other words, like very much how you wrote all with this emotion written in your words, guess sincere is the word I'm looking for
  12. by the way: What did you make of all the Wall controversy in Berlin?

There wasn't a real wall. If you were on that street (pariser platz) and facing the Tor you could easily see the whole spectacle
