If Kingdom Of Your Love is on the vinyl which you say it is, then that means it's deluxe for me (not super-deluxe). Why would the same song be on both sides though - surely that seems kinda redundant and unnecessary. It also seems that EPK rip and the version that's been passed around is the final version and there never was a longer version that is gonna be released.

or it's a teaser for the new album... we can't imagine they do something like that nowadays, but it's a possibility. like they did on boy, that demo version of fire

If I was around in 1980 when some releases of Boy had that on the end, no way would I have even picked it with hearing October the next year. Even now I can't hear anything that even resembles it in a little bit - but then I guess it's a demo and nothing more.

A new song for those buying the box set, and obviously not someone with a passing interest in U2, would buy the box set would have been much more welcome, or even an EP of four or five newer rejected songs from the sessions would have been better. So it's deluxe for me then - don't really need or want the extra bits and pieces like the plectrums and postcards and photos.
  8. If I hadn't read the house rules, I would ask for something illegal... But I don't

    Thanks

The DVD will be available very soon, go buy it and make your own MP3 rip, we can help you to do that if you don't know how
  12. Well, I've just watched the TV Promo on TV for it and must say I'm suitably impressed with it. I like a lot of the shots, nice quick transitions to suit the pace of the music etc.

Not so impressed with the audio, needs more audience in the mix! They only come alive when Bono tells them too...nice crisp music though, I said before that it lacks some bass but I think throughout it's evened out a bit, bass comes in when it's needed. Good thing about being at the show live is the bass pumping throughout, it's a good feeling.

All in all, I'm impressed. Need to see it complete to make any final judgements but it may be the best one since Mexico...it may not, certainly prefer it to Chicago and Milan and potentially Boston. The shots keep pace with the music and that, I think, is how a DVD should go.

    Highlights from the TV event:
    - Vertigo (First song to give me goosebumps...)
    - Crazy Tonight (Just love it, it's a funky dance tune that get's the crowd going and the band look very happy performing it)
    - Ultra Violet (Well, they could've performed this song really badly and it still would've been a wow moment, superb song, nice graphics)
    - Moment of Surrender (Just a really good way to finish IMO, gave me goosbumps again)

Blu-Ray version will be sitting amongst my collection very soon. Should've done Wembley I or Sheffield though...
