  1. I'm sure you will
  2. The matrix will take a while. I have to shoveling snow the next days.
  3. Timo--Be very careful on the time alignment. Use the clicks to align things. For higher quality line sources, you have to be nearly perfect on the alignment. I usually zero into the exact sample of the metronome and then use those as my markers. Then I resample it to 13 significant figures (the highest adobe audition will do), so each 15 minute block will be aligned to the individual sample.

Phasing on multiple iems suck! Can very easily destroy the whole thing.

I never thought about to use the clicks fot time align. Thank you very much. This is a great hint!

A question: I have a problem with the volume of the iems. All iems are not 100% volume stable. What's the best way to fix that? Thank you hoserama!
  5. Envelope editing / Volume automation in the multitrack. Audition calls it Envelope editing. You can select in the view to see the volume lines, and you can adjust it from +6db to -96db. Its post fader I believe.
  6. what is it that you want to matrix? Bono and Edge's San Sebastian feed?
a lossless anda lossy version? anyway if you are using my source, i am sorry to say this was edited very quickly and meant to be listened as it is, (no further matricing), i edited some silences and interferences here and there, so a matrix wouldnt work as audio won't match.
  7. Ooo good call on that Resteves...saves these guys a whole lot of trouble.

Yes, I have trouble with a few songs. I think this project will die for me. Anyway there's another guy working on a matrix with these sources.

So... do you know the – or just any – others?
  10. Honestly a remastering of Edge's feed would be insane on it's own. Slightly more drums and quite a bit more Bono in there, and we're good to go. A matrix isn't really necessary with the sound quality of that recording.
  11. You an expert now?

Its not trivial to add 'just some Bono' maybe some EQing might make him a bit more prominent, but that cant make up the fact that there is barely any Bono in the IEM. Remastering cant do miracles.

Especially with 2 individual sources, where Edge and Bono are (mostly) split between the two a Matrix can do wonders. Because the same thing happens in the soundboard, all individual tracks are merged into one.
