2011-06-24 - Glastonbury
Tour: Various Dates
Songs played: 20
Audio recordings: 2
Videos: 1
  1. Eh, ya never know with them. It could be pretty ugly (I think) if they play a bunch of "new" stuff from NLOTH. Their best bet is a setlist full of classics...Beautiful Day, Streets, Sunday Bloody Sunday, I Will Follow, Mysterious Ways--the more anthemic, crowd-pumping songs. It'd be pretty cool if they busted out Out of Control or something like that too. And Mofo would be fun. Okay, I'll stop before this gets out of hand.
  2. As I said last year, I'm expecting one of the best U2 shows ever. It will be epic for sure!
  3. Two Hearts Beat as One would be cool, and we get to hear Glastonbury again

..........and no i'm not being sarcastic
  4. Are these shows usually broadcast on the radio? If so, I'll take a greatest hits show. I've already got so many shows from each tour (thanks to this site) that I would welcome a show that plays their "20 Greatest Hits." I'm sure some would disagree but I would gather that I'm not alone.
  5. so their worst secret is out finally. they can pull it off but it would have to be a greatest hits set for sure.
  6. good to see them on normal stage every now and then

We will have an hour at least of HD footage but likely the full set. Radio also likely.

Live is probably going to be UK only though.

No, last year I saw The Edge and Muse playing Streets on my TV, but maybe that was because it was saturday
  9. I'm pretty sure Glastonbury broadcasting isnt exclusive to the BBC in the UK. Their coverage is the best.
  10. I got Muse live last year, well I think it was live It was definitely their night, and we were all going mad about it lol
  11. Opening with Streets would be one of their most epic mo(ve)ments ever.

  12. Yeah but we got BBC here too.
We will probably get a greatest hits setlist, although I dont see Pride and SBS as festival songs.
When was the last time U2 played a festival???
