1. I love Pearl Jam

  2. Yes, I'm pretty sure I remember you and I having a conversation about them some other time/place...I could have sworn we already had a proper thread for them already but I guess not. Maybe it was just in General Chat.

I'd love to get out and see them, they're one of those "never play the same set two nights in a row" type bands, like Radiohead.
  3. going to one show of them you surely don't know which songs they're gonna play and in what manner
  4. There is one video that I absoutely adore related to Pearl Jam. Rockin' In The Free World at Pinkpop

I just love Eddie Vedder in this video. He's in such shock, yet happiness at the same time because he's played one of the biggest shows of his life at that time.

Pearl Jam are really a band I should get into. I have Ten, really should buy Vs., Vitalogy and the others.
  5. I love Pearl Jam. My favourite song is Given To Fly. Look at this tremendous version:

  6. I know I might be alone on this one but I would put YIELD right up there with Vs. and Ten. It's a great rock and roll album.
  7. I don't know the biggest part of PJ songs, but I really like the biggest part of the songs I've heard so far. Really great band, and I'd love to attend their show. I want to dive into Pearl Jam albums to find more interest stuff, but I don't kwno where to start it. Any tip?

Daughters, Even Flow, Jeremy, The Fixer and Given To Fly are my favorites since it's hard to choose just one.

Their Greatest Hits album from 2004 (Rearviewmirror) would be a really good introduction to the band. If you haven't heard of it, it's a 2-CD set that contains most of their hits and fan-favourite songs from 1991-2004. A good number of the songs come from the band's fist three albums, Ten, Vs, and Vitalogy - and that's a good thing.
