Though I used to be a huge fan of these games- own 3 or so of them- I've seen Frusciante live, and reducing his work and craft into 5 buttons may as well just be slapping him in the face. Maybe I'm a bit too high on my horse, but it's a shame.

You could say that about any decent band.
The game is just for fun, not some super philosophical art thing. And it can actually make kids start playing real instruments...so, why not?
That said, I have never played the games, and I wouldn't allow a song of mine, if I was a "rockstar", to be put there.

True...He was the heart and soul of the Peppers in my opinion
  4. this is gonna be a turning point in their career; if this album doesn't cut it it could well be their last.

but who knows? they've released quality music beforehand without frusciante - OHM and UMPP spring to mind - so i don't think a killer album if out of the question. from what i've heard josh is a great guitar player, and they've still got anthony's showmanship, chad's killer drums and flea's god-like bass work going for them.

i remain hopeful, and i'd love for them to play leeds/reading again this year.

    Agree, we'll wait and see
  6. I know U2 has some strange titles for their albums. But this one is the winner in that competition I think :
Dr Johnny Skinz’s Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head’

The album should come out in June or Juli.

  7. This is how I feel about them.
  8. Juli ? You damn Dutchie!!

What an amazingly weir title, yes... But I like it!
