I think that says it all.
  2. i like october, 'i fall down' is a great track. took me a while to get into though, definately not one of their best albums of course but nonetheless good
  3. I like the October album, but War is better by a little bit...just a little!
  4. I don't like this album very much. For me, WAR is far superior. It has Sunday, New Years Day, Two Hearts, ''40'', Seconds, Surrender and LikeASong.
But October has Gloria, Brick and I Fall Down.

Anyway, the SONG October is one of the best ballads ever. The rythm, the voice and the chords are just perfect.
  5. I listen to War more than October, but except for the crap production, October is really a great album, and seriously underrated

This is off-topic. Just a quick question for you. I know The Unforgettable Fire is your favorite. I love it too. I'm just curious, why is it your favorite? I'd love to hear your thoughts, theedge123.

I love this album for the combination of keyboards and atmospheric is really great (I love this "ambient" stuff), Bono's vocals in top shape and Larry and Adam really did great job on this album too (for example, Wire, ASOH). Here's the main reasons (but there's more). I have a special feeling that's hard to describe when I listen to this album (it's funny, I was listening to it when you wrote your question )

Is there any moment of the day when you are NOT listening to The Unforgettable Fire?

Hmmm, yes, when I'm at school

Seriously, I'm listening to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses and Skid Row these days...

Very well put. I love this album, just couldn't quite put my finger on why. It's got a very different sound to it, but not like Achtung Baby, it has more of a open-fields feel to it. I think the artwork describes the theme of the album perfectly. ASOH makes me think of here (Indiana) don't know why though.
  11. ive only listend 2 october once! :O its ok i guess but i like war because of Seconds )))) love it

A perfect description of this phenomenal album. I love it, A Sort of Homecoming, The Unforgettable Fire (in my top 3 of best album-songs ever), MLK, Wire, Bad, Pride (In The Name Of Love)...what an amazing list of songs. It gives me a really a special feeling when I'm listening to it as well.
