1. Hey man! Nice to see you around, and what the hell, are you in Vancouver?!?! Whatever happened to our favorite Czech

PS. Your reply will be your 1000th post in this forum. I congratulate you in advance.
  2. TW Classics =>

    Simple Minds
    Bryan Adams
    Texas

+ some more local artists that probably no one has ever heard of
  3. Got tickets for Pearl Jam (Sept. 11)
    Thinking about Soundgarden (July 2)
Gotta love grunge - or at least Matt Cameron.
  4. Been invited to see a blues band this Friday night so that's my first for the rest of the year.

    Next up:

Damien Leith (beautiful Irish singer-songwriter doing originals and covers)
Meat Loaf (August or October when the dates are confirmed)
Alice Cooper + Van Halen and other bands for Soundwave (October - possibly I'll be there)
    Suzi Quatro (October 7th)

Don't think there's anything else coming up but who knows.

Meat Loaf??? he cancelled all is canadian dates last year... only sold 2-5K in venus that hold 15-18K
  6. Yep, Meat Loaf. I've never been to a show of his before. Plus it'll be some of the never-before played songs and the DVD recording too.

Didn't he cancel a lot of dates due to throat problems or something like that or just illness?

defs want to see meat when he comes out
and i thought about getting tickets to soundwave, reckon van halen and alice still have it?
  8. Dunno about Halen but the Coop does. Not just saying that as a fan but saying that because he's like 60-something and acts like it's 1970-something. And he'll probably do some new songs too like I'll Bite Your Face Off which I can't wait for (and may be his last show for the next two years here).
  9. Children Collide and KOL is all i have planned atm, hoping that Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Kasabian come back down under soon
  10. Glastonbury - next week
Iron Maiden - July in the SECC
  11. Tori Amos in Amsterdam, october 2011

the promotors called it an ilness, however the real reason was the for each show in winnipeg / edmonton and vancouver few few if any tickets were sold.. I had front row and was upset when he cancelled.
