1. Is it just me or does this track really grow on you? I used to not care for it that musch, but know its my second favirite track off AB.
  2. True, when I got my first U2 CD'S (both best of). I really didn't care much about it.

But then I started to discover and appreciate alot more this band ans UTEOTW (oooooo, I just made up an abbreviation ) well I begane to really like the song.

Like many other from U2's older days. And this is what is nice about it.
  3. Definitely agree. Didn't really give it a second thought until I got the Slane Castle DVD and watched it over and over again. Lyrics are really tight as well, some of Bono's best.
  4. fantastic song! truley a great rock song. of course it's even better when they play it live.
  5. Yep!

Used to skip this all the time; then I saw them live and; wow, that was it. As you say, it's now in my top 10.

Fantastic song. I guess that's the strength of the best U2 songs; they grow and grow and never tire.

    Yep, it's awesome!
I care a lot about lyrics and this song attracted me with the great lyrics, specially the last verse:

In my dream, I was drowning my sorrows / But my sorrows they'd learned to swim / Surrounding me, going down on me / Spilling over the brim / Waves of regret and waves of joy / I reached out for the one I tried to destroy / You, you said you'd wait till the end of the world.

(sorry, HAD to paste it all, I just love every single line of it! )
