  1. no one has the recording?

  2. Someone has it, hence why it was put up on YouTube.

I listened to that sample a year ago on U2torrents on the 'Post your own samples' thread. It's never been released into the open, and it may never be released.
  3. That version of Mofo sounds better than PopMart versions! A bit more rock.

I'm fairly certain that I could make a setlist from "songs they should but probably wont ever play again".

    Mo-o-o-o-o-FO!
  4. You guys have got me in a PopMart mood! (they don't come along very often!)

Just downloaded Miami show. My Mammy!

  5. Pretty much this.

    That's all you'll ever need.

(Aside from maybe an audio rip from the Mexico City DVD)

I would recommend these ones also if you are a fan of the Popmart tour, which I personally am not. I have, however, listened to each of these and I can say that they are all very good.

And hearing that Mofo soundcheck pretty much made me fall out of my chair! I knew the Vertigo Tour, especially the final leg, was well known for the immense setlist mix-ups with songs like Discotheque coming back, but I had no idea they soundchecked Mofo also. After hearing that, I definitely think it could come back as a rotating encore opener in a future tour.

But reading that Lemon and Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car were also worked on? No freaking way... That shocked me even more than hearing the Mofo soundcheck. I had always thought that those two songs, specifically those two songs, were songs of a different era that made little sense back then and even less sense now (but I still occasionally enjoy bursting into my best rendition of Lemon).

  6. never seen this before ...

  7. I saw it the other day, when the proper anniversary happened. I just youtubed "u2 las vegas popmart" and that ^ one was the 3rd video I think. Interesting stuff.
