    I can't fault the video for a screen that size. It's even quite good in bright sunlight.
    Some blacks are a little smudged and bright, bright reds will bleed a little but no more than with cheaper DVD players.

    I've happily sat through ZooTV on it; and Sin City (lot of black in that one)

    No idea on the 4:3; not sure I've got one in that format on there. I'll have a look later and get back to you on that.

    Did you get much pixelation during ZooTV. I got some during fast movements (Larrys Drumming) and whenever the reds where about. Blacks are a little cloudy indeed but for a 2.5 inch screen it kicks ass

    Not that I remember. They seemed to iron out some pixelation flaws with batch 38. I think I got 39 or 40. I'll have another watch and report back....

    Think they did a mass recall didn't they? All screwed. Happily they sorted it very quickly.

    they had failing screens, frozen pixels and all sorts of other craps. Never by an ipod on day of release
