Admittedly, I can count on one hand the number of songs I like by them that they've released in my lifetime.

    I'm 39.

    LOLOLOL

I'll admit that they have a lot of terrific songs... Many of their 1962-75 work is amazing. Then they lost track and slowly became what they are now...

Still I'd like to see them once, though.
  2. i think you can safely add glastonbury to any schedule
  3. Have they ever performed there?

Whe Ron Wood joined in '75,that was that.Thats when they became The Stones.Leave out the Rolling.Wood was/is a clown.

They were just fantastic from 1968-1972.

I'd also include Beggar's Banquet in your list. I'd consider it to be my second favourite album by them - after Let it Bleed.

Without question Matt..I was talkin about the Mick Jones releases...Beggar's is brilliant,as is Aftermath,Out Of Our Heads and Decembers Children.I always felt the early releases had too many covers though.

  6. No but eavis has said they and prince are the ones he'd really like and what better way to go out than 100,000 people and live on tv.

The Rolling Stones are a bunch of walking egos. Precisely, playing to 100.000 people and being shown on TV would be what could lead them to do a bigger, longer, fatter, stinking-er, boring-er, greatesthits-er farewell tour...
  8. I'm flabbergasted that I'm the only one who's like shitting themselves with excitement for this

  9. You probably are, but where's the problem?

If they do a farewell tour and I'm around where/whenever they play, I would like to attend a concert of them. They're part of the music history, nobody can deny that.
  10. Yeah that's my big excitement for it, is one of the most classic rock n' roll bands is going to be saying farewell and leaving the music scene (and rightfully so, I agree with you all there)...but it will be legendary.
  11. i'd love to see 'em, especially at glastonbury.
