1. Well, which songs are underrated in your opinion? According to me it's Please. But Bad, Dirty Day, Love is blindness, A Sort of Homecoming and Heartland are quite underrated too.
  2. Miami, it rocks (especially live).

And the whole Pop album is just underrated, as is Zooropa. Mostly by U2 itself.

Yes I agree with you, those songs are really great songs but they are not known by as many people.
Also I want to add Acrobat, Like a Song, Tomorrow, Last Night on Earth, Lemon and Mofo.
  4. mercy, acrobat, in a little while, stay and a man and a woman.
how come they never played a a man and a woman live on the vertigo tour?
    dont they like or what?
i think its a great song and i would really love to hear it live.
  5. crumbs from your table

    ultra violet

    new york(live)

    love is blindness
  6. I agree with the whole Pop album, and also with acrobat (one of my favorite u2 song), Heartland , and Like a song...
  7. Like a song...
    A sort of Homecoming
    Red Hill Mining Town
    Heartland
    Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
    Acrobat
    Love Is Blindness
    Stay (Faraway, So Close!)
    Dirty Day
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
    The Ground Beneath Her Feet
  8. "Two Hearts Beat As One"!!!

It seems to be ignored and written out of U2 history by the band. It ws one of the first songs that got me in to U2.

I read Edge doesn't like playing it.
  9. Basically all of the Pop album is underrated. It is a sound record from start to finish and displays what deserve to be called U2 classics.
    More specifically...
    - Wild Honey (the best song that the Beatles never wrote)
    - So Cruel (Why doesn't anyone talk about this song? I think it could easily be one of Bono's best vocal performances... period)
    - Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car (Amazing song, great writing, such a step apart from the rest of Zooropa)
    - If God Will Send His Angels (Great writing, Bono's voice is haunting)
  10. Zooropa is the band at it's most underrated. With neo-classic tracks like Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car, Numb, The First Time, The Wanderer, Lemon, Stay, and the hauntingly upbeat title track, it's a shame that the LP was overshadowed by the tour, and didn't really get the attention it deserved.

Seconds, Ultraviolet (Light My Way), and Salome are my three favorite underrated tracks outside of Zooropa. The first two are some of the best tracks on the albums they were on, but never got the attention they deserved. The same goes for the version of Salome found on the EBTTRT single; it's a fantastic bridge between the Joshua Tree-Lovetown U2 and the Zooish U2 that followed, but it was even kept off the Best of the B-Sides 1990-2000 by it's decidedly more boring Zooromancer remix'd counterpart.
  11. Without a Doubt:

    Electrical Storm

    Runner- ups:

    A Sort of Homecoming
    Stay (Faraway, so close)
If God will send his Angels
Wake up Dead Man (Full Band Version)

I also don't understand why some people complain about "Window in the Skies" - I believe this is the best song the Beatles never wrote, not "Wild Honey".

  12. i would have to say my top three are...

    1. Bad - did you hear the crowd go off at melbourne 19th? this song should be closer for every concert, as they add 40 to the end of it, creating the most awesome ending ever
    2. One Tree Hill - similarly, the crowds go wild when they hear this song.
    3. Cry/Electric Co (Live) - this song, when played live, really gets the band in gear, and i am so pissed off that they didnt play it a t Brisbane, as i was anticipating it, as Dallas Schoo was playing it when soundchecking edge's geeeetar
