1. So I have been pretty into this band lately and was wondering, does anyone else around here like them? And if so, well now I guess we have a discussion thread I really like them, especially "The Hurting" and "Songs from the Big Chair". Two very good albums Speaking of which, they're putting out a box set for the 30th anniversary of "The Hurting"
  2. My dad loves them, I've never been too much into them but I still like some songs. Shout, Woman In Chains, Mad World... Oh, and Everybody Wants To Rule The World is one of my favs ever, I love to play it on my 12 strings guitar.

That SBS version is so nice, with the audience singing along and all.

I really like them... I actually just got "The Hurting" from a neighbor. On vinyl. Yep, I am in highschool and I have a turntable anyway those are all good songs... Not a huge fan of The Seeds of Love album though... Do love "Advice for the Young at Heart" from that album though... And that version of SBS is great I love it. Roland really does a great job with it.

  4. EWTRTW is a very good song. I love the version from their "Going to California" concert film.

  5. This isn't that version but I remembered I LOVE this one

  6. I know! But I played them side by side after you said this and it is close... but not playback (luckily)... PLus they released that version and a couple of other songs from that show on a promo EP (Live at Massey Hall, you can find it online. Also, multiple videos from that show are up as they are from Scenes From The Big Chair)
  7. Those lyrics are very actual. One of their greatests songs if you ask me.

  8. STSOL is a good song... not a huge fan of the album but it was a great tour. Watch them live in 1990... in their prime (Or at least very close to it)
