Californication is a masterpiece but One hot minute is great, too. Underrated album.

Is that the one with Tearjerker on? I like that one.

Californication would get my nod Nate.

Exactly. And it has one of their best tracks ever: My Friends.
Album was produced by Rick Rubin btw.

    Enough said.
  5. Californication is their best album. by the way is also a good one. Stadium Arcadium has some fine tunes but generally i didnt like it much. i cant understand their obsession with california, Californication then dani california now, i think we got the point.
  6. I'm a fan, not die-hard and never will be, but still a fan. Got all their albums and the Slane DVD, Californication still is the best record, Stadium Arcadium is good, with some very good songs on it.
  7. I like them a lot. And I think that Stadium Arcadium is a weak album overall, it sounds ok, but there's nothing outstanding about it, as there is on Californication or even By The Way.
And you people should get to know their older material, prior to BloodSugarSexMagik, raelly great stuff, in my opinion, superior to their second Frusciante-era albums.
  8. I don't like them 'cos they don't treat their fans as they should. And for men like that I just can't have any respect.

Could you explain yourself? Because I don't know how they treat their fans, I suppose they treat them like they should..

ye, what did you mean? i didnt understand as well.
  11. There was their concert in Serbia, country next to mine. (I'm from Croatia). Tickets were very expensive, people were waiting for the concert in the rain for 12 hours, and what did boys from RHCP do? They came on stage and play for like an hour (!!!) and left without saying one word to audience. Goodbye? Thank you for coming and queueing in the rain? NOTHING. I know few people who were on that concert and they were pissed as hell. You travel to another country, spend a lot of money, wait in the rain for hours and in the end all you get is one hour set list and band doesn't eve say "Welcome, thank you for coming!".

This concert wasn't exception. My few friends were in Milan few days before that Serbia concert, and same thing happened. They played for two hours but Anthony seemed like he's lost on stage, there was no communication with audience.

Treating fans like that is just wrong.

Friend of mine, ex drummer in one Croatian rock band, today journalist and writer went to India 10 years ago and in the middle of nowhere he met - Anthony. They spend few days together and he even talked about it on few pages in his first book.
