  1. Wow I forgot how much variety they did on the Vertigo tour... I really liked that tour I don't care who knows it! That Chicago DVD is the film that got me into this band fully
  2. Same
  3. Crazy to think that those Chicago shows that wound up as the Vertigo DVD were ten years ago now! Wonder if Bono will reference that being back at the United Center next week...

This was the DVD that got me into the band as well. Really great cinematography and really great performances.
  5. Two more days!

I'll be entering the arena around 6:00 p.m. for nights one and two, in GA, not really worrying about where my spot is initially. Nights three and four, I'm in seats, and then night five I'll be lined up in the GA queue for several hours before the show to get the best spot I can find.

I would love to be able to attend 5 shows. This is great!
  7. Hopefully I'm still alive when I inadvertently fly through the ceiling once Electric Co. starts.

I'd like to be able to make it to all five shows
  8. Not worrying about my spot for night 4 either. Only get to Chicago early morning on the day of the show after 18 hours of flights and all the extra waiting around at airports. Will see you in line on the last night for a good spot. Any more good tips for the best things to do in Chicago?

Feel free to find me on Facebook and shoot me a message or something...if you end up with a free evening or some down-time during your trip, hit me up and I'll take to you a cool local spot on a whim. There are a million places depending on where you're at. it'd be fun to meet up with someone from the other side of the world, too!

I assume you won't have texting capability to a US number?
  10. First thing I planned to do is go into AT&T and try organise a U.S. SIM card for my phone. Just a prepaid with a bit of calling and texting credit and some data. If they aren't keen I've read that there are other cheap phones from Walmart etc that you can buy? So I hopefully should have something
