2015-07-31 - New York
Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 1
  1. I'm very curious, they will have to do something very nice to not repeat themselfes... I bet the first act will have some changes, the middle new songs and again some changes on the "American" set and encore... Hope they give us good stuff
  2. The slideshow gives some really great stats regarding how the band handles extended residencies. Post 2000 we've got around 65% similarity among all 5+ nights. The mixing around they did in Boston is also promising as we may see that play a role in the New York sets.
  3. I'm very interested to see how they go forward from now on in the second half. Last night was so refreshing, it almost felt like Vancouver all over again.
  4. They just need to shake it up more usually. Don't even need to play that many rarities - just a little change in order like last night and the odd less played song here and there and you turn the monotony into greatness. It takes so little.
  5. Very interested to see what happens come night six. Are the same songs going to rotate back through or will we get more debuts?

I'm still the further along the go in NYC they'll pull out a few more surprises for the usual rotation spots... keeping my fingers crossed anyway!
  7. Somewhere we were spitballing the idea of seeing The Roots making an appearance. Maybe we'll get Jimmy Fallon and Bono to duet Desire.
  8. The Roots would be incredibly fun one night. Perhaps not enough room on the e-stage for them all, but they should try! These are the final nights of the North American leg, they should go out in style.
  9. I wonder how logistical it would be now that he hosts The Tonight Show. We may see U2 show up on The Tonight Show, but I'm not sure if we'll see The Tonight Show show up on the IE Tour.

They record tonight show in the afternoon, so very logistically possible. And i believe they record Friday show on Thursday, so a Friday appearance would be very possible.
  11. saturday for me
  12. I didn't even think about this until now, but where's Lykke Li? Will we see The Troubles return with a duet?
