1. Apologies if this has been done before, but I can't see it anywhere. We all give our favourite song, album, bootleg etc. But if you had to rank all the studio albums, best to worst, how would your list go? You may have favourite songs on each album but as an overall piece things may change (eg Kite's one of my 10 favourite songs, but the album doesn't do well on my list).

My criteria were to use the 'star' setting in iTunes (ranked out of 5) for each song to then get the average for each album. My list ended up like this:-

    1. Achtung Baby (4.33)
    2. Joshua Tree (4.09)
    3. HTDAAB (4)
    4. Pop (3.75)
    5. Boy (3.72)
    6. The Unforgettable Fire (3.7)
    7. War (3.6)
    8. Zooropa (3.4)
    9. Rattle & Hum (3.29)
    10. ATYCLB (3.25)
    11. October (2.8)

  2. 1. Achtung Baby
    2. The Joshua Tree
    3. The Unforgettable Fire
    4. War
    5. Rattle and Hum
    6. Boy
    7. All that you can't leave behind
    8. HTDAAB
    9. October
    10.Pop
    11.Zooropa

Nice to see that you listed Under a Blood Red Sky, that was the first album I bought and it brought me in contact with U2 live. Especially Sunday Bloody Sunday and 40 are awesome there..

    4. Atomic Bomb
    5. War
    6. Zooropa
    7. Boy
    8. Unforgettable Fire
    9. Pop

The other two dont even qualify

  9. Here's mine. Probably not up there with everyone's but these are pretty good.

    1. Rattle and Hum
    2. Joshua Tree
    3. Boy
    4. HTDAAB
    5. Achtung Baby
    6. POP

    9. Under A Blood Red Sky
    10. Wide Awake in America
    11. War
    12. October
    13. Passengers

I actually like some of the Apple stuff like Unreleased and Rare, but I don't think I've listened to as many studio songs as I have live. Live rocks!

We should do a DVD/video rankings of concerts:

    1. Milan
    2. Slane
    3. Sydney
    4. Rattle and Hum
    5. Mexico
    6. Red Rocks
    7. Chicago (horrible)

    Were there others?
  10. 1. Achtung Baby!
    2. Joshua Tree
    3. Pop
    4. All That You Can't Leave Behind
    5. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
    6. Zooropa
    7. The Unforgetable Fire
    8. Boy
    9. Passengers
    10. October
    11. War
  11. Albums:
    1. Achtung Baby
    2. Zooropa
    3. The Joshua Tree

    6. War
    7. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
    8. Boy
    9. All That You Can't Leave Behind
    10. The Unforgettable Fire
    11. Under A Blood Red Sky
    12. October
    13. Passengers Original Soundtracks 1

    Videos:
    1. ZooTV: Live from Sydney
    2. Vertigo 2005: Live from Chicago
    3. Elevation: Live from Boston
    4. Rattle & Hum
    5. U2 Go Home: Live from Slane Castle
    6. POPMART: Live from Mexico City
    7. Under a Blood Red Sky
    8. Vertigo 2006: Live From Milan [it'd be so much better with the full setlist]

Zooropa and Chicago are higher on my lists than they are on others, I see.
