1. George Harrison: Living in the Material World?
  2. Some more...

  3. A day in the life, best Beatles song ever
  4. I love the era of songs that they are putting up. 1967 and 1969 is my favourite era from these guys. The early stuff, although essential, is a bit too "poppy" for me. Obviously the music gets better once you get into tunes from 1965-1966 and the last couple of albums had a bunch of great tunes. But for me the four tunes they've posted really represent why I think these guys were (are) so great. Now they just need to upload "Strawberry Fields Forever," "All You Need Is Love," "I Am The Walrus," and "Hey Jude."
  5. Yet another...

  6. Not too sure if this is legal or not but I am converting all these videos to mp3 and creating a playlist (I already own most of the actual albums). I need more of these videos!
  7. As it should be reminded before the day is over, this came out 50 years ago today...

  8. The beginning of their best stuff... I find most of their work prior to RS a bit too "bubble gum."
  9. Agreed.....and to think that We Can Work It Out/Day Tripper were left OFF and released as a double A side single instead....crazy how they did things back then....needless to say my Rubber Soul mix has always included those 2 classics lol

Definitely. The same goes for Paperback Writer/Rain with Revolver and Hey Jude/Revolution (the "proper" one) with the "White Album."

In fact, I always feel the need to pair up Rubber Soul and Revolver (along with the four extra songs we've mention) as well as Sgt. Pepper and The Magical Mystery Tour. If you cut a bit of silence off the end of a few tracks, you can fit each pairing onto their own 80-minute CD's....but who makes CD's anymore? Really...propably just crazy people who sit around in their basement making mixes after mixes after mixes, just waiting for their favourite bands to come to their area to play a proper show...

    Real nut jobs.
