That's a long time when you're seven...then eventually (almost) ten.
I can't imagine having to wait that long. The only one I've seen in theaters was Revenge of the Sith, so I've never had to experience that (for Star Wars at least). But I probably will very soon...
  2. I haven't checked: There are three more movies coming? If so, are they coming out every three years again?

  3. Don't be offended too quickly
    Thanks for the suggestion btw.

But, the 451236 thing is, erhm, bullshit a joke, right?
EDIT: okay, someone actually build a whole theory around this, haha!

Every two years I think. There are also three "anthology films" coming.

    So:
    2015: Episode 7
    2016: Rogue 1
    2017: Episode 8
2018: Boba Fett or Han Solo prequel (can't remember right now)
    2019: Episode 9
    2020: Either Han or Boba

    I waited maybe a month

Not having to wait really is one of the good things about watching stuff that's already finished though. It would've been horrible to have to wait long periods during the final seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or during Battlestar Galactica. Luckily I was able to just start the next episode if I wanted to when watching those.

I read the other day that there is a Han Solo movie coming out in 2018. In an interview, Harrison Ford essentially stated that he didn't know (or care) much about the plot line.
  7. ...and WOW, that's a lot of Star Wars!

    what?!?!
  9. I guess there were a few screenings of The Force Awakens around here. The film critic of the Toronto Star said it was the best movie of 2015 while others are giving very favourable reviews.

    Even more excited?!
  10. Going to see it tomorrow night. I'm not a massive Star Wars fan, but I enjoy the films.
  11. Admittedly, I was in no rush to see it - I can wait a few weeks, if necessary. However, if the movie is in fact good (really good) then I want to see is asap.
  12. I'm taking my 11 year old out of school Friday for a few hours to see 10am show.
I totally expect it to be great in every way and can't wait to enjoy it with him.
