    Comments on this show
The setlist of this show is definitely something special, along with the fact that it is a great show by itself as well. What better way to kick off the month of "Early morning, April 4" than with a show that has Pride as its opener. This 100-minute lasting show is often said to have somewhat of a "backwards setlist", due to the presence of songs normally played late in the set appearing in its early stages, such as Pride and New Year's Day, while the main set staple trio of Desire, All Along The Watchtower, and All I Want Is You is in the encore. Also noteworthy is the first performance of Slow Dancing in concert - nearly four years before its first official studio release! Bono had previously sung some of the song on Australian radio in October 1989 (text partly from U2gigs).

We encourage you to listen to this show this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  12. This incredible show is 30 years old today.

One of the peaks of U2 live history.

If Larry Mullen said one time that what he didn't like about the Lovetown era is that they had become somewhat of a "jukebox"....... Well, Osaka is U2's jukebox at ITS BEST EVER.

Have a listen and lighten up your Sunday: 1989-12-01 - Osaka, Japan - Osaka Castle Hall
