It seems even the mainstream media are picking up on U2's recent dismal performance in the charts. This article appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald today

Yeah but the Sydney Morning Herald is full of rubbish anyway and only idiots rely on it.

So any band that has extra-curricular activities is destined to fail in the charts? WTF?
  2. We could discuss this in the relevancy topic, but I think U2 won't go further that long. They're wise men, they'll stop when the time is there. And that could be soon.

don't they have a 12 years deal with livenation ? there's gotta be like 2 more tours after this one. hopefully!
  4. I thought they did too.

Anyone know about the single being released in Australia? I can find a vinyl but that's it...
  5. i think its the same in the UK, i could only find the vinyl and after looking on the internet, nothing seems to pop up about a CD release
  6. I REALLY want to hear the will.i.am remix. I think that would have helped the single if the remix was released. Especially if it featured him or something.
  7. All of you who doesen't like the lyrics/ vocals, should listen to

Magnificent (Dave Aude Instrumental) and Magnificent (Fred Falke Instrumental)

    Digital release / US only.

  8. Where did you find the vinyl Drew? i haven't been able to find any format of the single, which is a bit disappointing, you would think JB would have it.

Probably fits better in the chart performance topic. Load of old bollocks anyway.

So NLOTH hasn't sold very well and Magnificnet sank without a trace. So what? They are only in danger of becoming golden oldies if the songs don't stand up and I think we're all pretty much agreed they do. Chart sales don't affect relevance or quality of output (just ask Lady Gaga, Britney etc.....)

The Muses. Is there one where you are?
  11. Is the 7" single worth €11 + €4/6 shipping?
