1. Noel is fantastic....his two solo albums are his best work since Morning Glory IMHO .
  2. Indeed they are. Just listened to Chasing Yesterday ..er, yesterday. Love tracks like Lock All the Doors, You Know We Can't Go Back (fitting?), and The Girl With X-ray Eyes.
  3. Double post.

  4. Envy is a terrible thing. Sadly, he's nothing (artistically, anyway) without Noel. There's absolutely no comparing their post-Oasis careers.

The Masterplan is easily among my 5 top Oasis songs ever. Does he perform it regularly on his solo shows? And Chamnpagne Supernova? These 2 would be my top choices to hear live, although Wonderwall and DLBIAnger are obviously the most singalong-friendly
  6. I saw him in Toronto last July and all of DLBIA, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, and The Masterplan were played. It really was a great show - but, admittedly, these four got the biggest reactions.
  7. Poker of aces Lucky you. Let's see what he brings for his 45-60 minute set...
  8. He seems to acknowledge that his best material is actually what he produced while in Oasis. Clever boy. I'd be happy with a 50/50% set (but a bit longer than that one, pls!)

Yeah, six songs would be way too short. I'd hope for 10 to12.
  10. Muse did 8-9 when they supported U2 so yeah, 10-11 is a safe bet for Noel since his songs are shorter than Muse's. Ahhhh anxious for this

I think Lock All the Doors and You Know We Can't Go Back are his two best post oasis songs. He's great live
