1. That's a pretty emotional note, and you can tell he's actually devastated by it. Well, all we can hope for is that people isn't losing much money from already-booked flights or hotels... But it's crap news anyway.

On a happier note... I have officially fallen in love:

  2. Oh dear that is pretty.
  3. Wow that's a huge bummer Feel really bad for him. I suppose it's good that he's going to maintain the productiveness he's had (writing), but still gotta feel for him that he's not able to tour his new album.

I'll be waiting til' when he's fully better though!
  4. glad I didn't buy tickets for Richmond after all...it would have been acoustic anyway, nothing like the Summer Battle Studies show I went to... but it would've been good none the less.
  5. I just listened to Who Says You Can't Go Home by Bon Jovi and realized that John might have had it as influence for Who Says, one of my fav songs by him...
  6. I'm not sure how I feel about all of his acoustic stuff he's been doing lately, I know hes been having some health issues but I miss the old John who would get up and rock out on some Voodoo Child at his shows rather than play soft alt-country songs like "Whiskey, Whiskey Whiskey". Not sure if I'll buy his upcoming album after listening to a few seconds of his new single. But all of this of course is just IMO.
  7. How incredibly cool is this?

  8. How incredibly dope is his new song?!

NOT Love on the Weekend - booooooooooooooooring.

    But this one:
  9. New EP out and doing some world tour (very few shows in Europe sadly). Would love to see him!
  10. Yup!

Got my tickets for April 1st in Montreal already Love the EP, love that he's gone back to his jazzy/bluesy sort of style. So happy to also hear that his tour will be shaped sort of like Where The Light Is. Solo acoustic, trio, and full band.

    Can't wait!
  11. Yeah, that show format is outstanding Congrats on your tix for Montreal, Alex!
