It's interesting that the band hasn't really gone out of their way to push for this tour on talk shows/adverts/etc.
    I wonder about this, too...

Hopefully with some of their social media posts being about studio work, this means that they are too busy wrapping up SOE - for a fall release after JT Tour? - to busy themselves with the talk show circuit!
  2. What are the odds of debuting SOE material on the tour?

It does seem like they are pushing on with the album so that's promising and i think with this tour unlike with a new album it kinda sells itself. They've not struggled too much with ticket sales anyway.

Well, we should hope they are wrapping up recording now. With this reliable source in South America saying they are going to add a leg in fall after playing America, then going to Europe then back across the pond to South America, they will take up the rest of 2017! We can only hope for the release while they're still touring JT30 in S. America!

I still believe that U2 has had enough completed songs to make SOE for a very long time. Maybe the fact Agent Orange is in the White House made them want to change the track list to tell a different story, but I doubt it would make them scrap completed songs. They may have enough songs to have SOE plus a lot of B-Sides and now they are biding their time for a favorable release.

If they were really as behind as some suggest, they wouldn't have given Kygo a track to remix and confirm it to be on the album. I think they'll release it sometime during the tour and may do talk show appearances during the tour to support that.
  6. Extra support in Dublin? Gates in Dublin now to open at 5pm.
  7. Maybe its just that they realise that the no-queueing rule isnt going to work- especially with a 6pm gate.

I remember getting in line for 2pm at 360- not sure how this is supposed to work?
  8. Yeah I got the email too. I don't think there's any extra support band, more like some city/neighbourhood rules instead.
  9. Just got an email from u2.com, extra questions from the Facebook q&a session and Bono has pretty much confirmed if it wasn't already the Joshua tree will be getting played in sequence. He talked about 'singing it in sequence a couple of weeks ago for the first time'so must be rehearsing it that way.
  10. Still no info about the subscriber gift. At least I was expecting something when I received the mail
  11. Yeah I'd almost forgot about that it's been so long, my hopefull theory is they're keeping us waiting because it's something really good.
