A quote from Adam just after the tour announcement:

The concept behind it is we definitely want to play every track on the album. Until we actually get into rehearsals I can't be clear about how that will happen.
I think Tim will rugby tackle one of the band at Twickenham if we get screwed over
  2. It's a totally different issue than SOI/SOE/I&E. Here they have ADVERTISED the tour as "every song, every night" so they're definitely doing it.

    Oh.
And this is not the thread to discuss it

The Joshua Tree tour setlist topic
  3. Yes, I'm more worried that these songs will not match the originals. I'm sorry that we discuss this here. It is difficult not going offtopic.

Well the versions of the standard TJT songs that they've been playing for the last 30 years are fine apart from taking liberties with the lyrics of Streets

I'm more worried about the rarities. And I'm sure they had a reason to drop RTSS on the Vertigo tour.
  6. Yes the version of God's country played on the last tour was pretty worrying but if they rehearse them properly who knows. One tree Hill is always great when they do it and when BB passed away they managed a very presentable version of When love comes to town at short notice so they can do it if they want to. Bono is the big problem,

The reason they dropped RTSS was Miss Sarajevo. Nothing mysterious about that
  8. Ok. We will move over to the The Joshua Tree tour setlist topic.
  9. RTSS was a bit flat on the European leg. But we will end this discussion.

You can count on it, Paul.
  11. I'll take the first flight to London and help you both
