Joshua Tree Tour 2017
Legs (3): Leg 1 - North America, Leg 2 - Europe, Leg 3 - The Americas
Shows: 54
  1. 6 tickets for Pittsburgh! That's almost half of all tickets sold. God bless our friend DonSPa.

  2. Would it not be cheaper for people living in certain parts of America to travel to Pittsburgh buying official tickets instead of paying way over the face value from scalpers for a show nearer where they live that's sold out?

hahaha, yes, absolutely. But as you might well know already,

    Spoiler (click to toggle)
  4. More rumours for South American shows as shows in Brazil are listed in Spotify's all over the world in October.

  5. Guess we can cross another off this from the original Concert Documentary book from 1995
  6. And the wanderer
  7. If someone guaranteed me RHMT, Heartland and Acrobat then I could live with the rest of them not being played. I think we'll get Acrobat in 2021, RHMT obviously coming up on this tour and Heartland it's either this tour or never, hopefully the former more than likely the latter.

I feel the same way, like so many. The very reason I love Acrobat is how raw and honest the lyric is, which apparently is why Bono won't sing it. Heartland would be very nostalgic and a great song, but it isn't essential to my life. Red Hill Mining Town live makes this tour worthwhile in and of itself.

The others on that list make sense...they were either filler or mid-tempo songs without a good live hook. RHMT, Acrobat, Heartland...they all feel like they could have been big songs had they been chosen to be out in front of their respective albums. Acrobat is a little out of the overall perception of AB for some more surface fans, but is the heartbeat of that album...the lyrics were just as earnest as ever, but just under glass a bit.
  9. I know it's probably fake due to someone having added these non-confirmed shows to the Bandsintown (or similar site) tracker, but I think it's interesting nonetheless... That's U2's official Spotify profile for those not familiar with it.

  10. "I can't live with this..."
  11. I love the little conversation between edge and Adam. It's funny also how serious edge is, like he's such a professional he can't enjoy it almost. It would be really interesting to see/hear not just the songs but the whole rehearsal process even nowadays when they're touring a new album and trying songs out for the first time. Even this upcoming tour would be cool as I really don't think they've rehearsed the likes of trip, exit, RHMT or in gods country full band, since the original JT tour.
